Camron Adibi testimonial for Gabriella Volpe
“Before I called Gabriella, I was unsure if the call would help me. It did help me! The experience was fluid, thoughtful, and positive.”

Camron Adibi,

Filomena Mastrangelo

“I had many questions about my work as a child care attendant because this was very new to me and I was doubting myself. I had no hesitation talking to Gabriella about my work. I needed advice and she was very helpful. After I spoke to Gabriella, she guided me with her experience and with that she made me feel more confident in myself and I was able to be there for the three boys I was working with. Gabriella is easy to talk to and she provided me with positive reassurance. I would definitely recommend Gabriella. She is amazing and knowledgeable with all the services she provides. I feel I can ask her anything if something else arises. Thank you so much for all you do!”

Frequently Asked Questions

Who are the consultations open to?
My services are open to English-speaking educators/professionals of disabled/chronically ill and neurodivergent children.

Clients are welcome globally.

Please note that I do not provide assistance for second-language learning.

Why should I invest in private consulting when I can get ideas online for free?

We all need help at one time or another because we cannot do everything.

As an educator/therapist/professional, you are busy and tired and lack time to do the research yourself. When you need cleaning help, you hire a cleaning crew. When you need help fixing the car, you hire a mechanic. When you need a haircut, you hire a hairstylist.

When the days are long and tough, you can receive support from someone who has been in your shoes, and one who is also far enough away from your reality to see things with fresh eyes. As a parent to a child with disabilities, I can also give you the perspective parents are hoping for you to see.

I am not a search engine. There are plenty of resources out there. I am someone who will listen to your specific concerns and give you strategies to best meet the needs of your learners or clients.

Also, by having a real live person to talk with will help make you accountable for the tips and tricks you’re given. How many times have you bookmarked an idea and never returned to it? That won’t happen if you have recommendations for your specific situation.

What are some specific ways you can support me?
I can help you:

  • Develop accessible strategies for one student/client or an entire class/group
  • Find ways to incorporate self-directed learning from within a system
  • Establish a classroom or therapeutic climate that removes barriers to learning and fosters inclusion and belonging

In the 5-session package, I can help you:

  • Create accessible content for an online course for students
  • Plan an in-person unit that includes all learners so you can use the strategies for additional units
  • Outline an inclusive program for learning for the entire year

I can also customize our session(s) to your personal needs.

Everything we work on will be done through the lens of accessibility, inclusion, and equity. As we work on your project, I will support you to examine your beliefs about learning so that you can commit to removing your unconscious biases and work to dismantle internalized ableism.

What are my payment options?

I accept all major credit cards and Paypal. I will provide you with a receipt if you require one for your institution.

How do I get my administration to pay for the services?

Educational professionals, including educators, therapists, and tutors, can have their administration cover the cost of consulting services through professional development budgets. Share this Support for Professionals whitepaper about the benefits of personalized consulting with your administration to help them understand the value of tailored educational strategies.

They can also contact me directly.

Once your administration agrees, schedule the call(s) and make the payment using the scheduling link above.

Invoices are available upon request.

What is your cancellation/ rescheduling policy?
Life happens. Anything can come up unexpectedly. If you worry that you won’t be able to make the appointment, know that I understand. I don’t want you to feel stressed about meeting with me.

Here is my cancellation/rescheduling policy: If you have scheduled an appointment and can’t make it, you can reschedule it the same way you booked it even if you decide to cancel. The details of this policy will be in your Welcome Package (sent to you at the time of booking).
