We don’t need to be teachers to make a valuable contribution to education. Learning also happens outside the classroom and it requires community effort.
Parents/guardians, step-parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, caregivers, neighbors, and friends come together to make sure kids are cared for.
If we live and breathe, we share a responsibility to our communities to assist in educating the youngsters roaming this earth at this time.
You don’t need to become a school commissioner or a district leader. You don’t need to become homeschoolers or distance learners either. You need only to begin right where you are. Every little bit of support in education is important.
It’s also essential that we unite as educators, parents, students, etc. The division among us is palpable, unnecessary, and unhelpful.
