“Working with Gabriella gave me a boost of direction, focus, and clarification on what my family’s homeschooling journey can be. She has a wealth of knowledge and experience in dealing with all kinds of learning styles and has so many creative ideas for keeping things fun and motivating. She has a beautiful level of compassion for both parents and children and has great tools for taking the pressure off while at the same time getting things organized and done. I feel inspired to move forward with a new level of confidence in our homeschooling!”

Krystyna S
Homeschooling mom of a 7 year-old

“I felt overwhelmed with how to organize papers and stay effective and efficient in that regard. Gabriella is a very warm and kind person. She is also knowledgeable and quite resourceful. She shared with me great resources on certain subjects and gave me useful tips not only how to stay organized but also what areas are more important to focus on when you homeschool a disabled child. I love consulting with Gabriella on a regular basis. Having ongoing support helps me tremendously to be the best homeschool mom I could be to my child.”

Frequently Asked Questions

Who are the consultations open to?

My services are open to English-speaking families of disabled/chronically ill and neurodivergent children who are developmentally at the elementary level.

Clients are welcome globally.

Please note that I do not provide assistance for second-language learning.

I have never worked with a consultant. Do I really need another specialist to deal with?

You have worked with so many specialists in your child's lifetime. I hear you. However, I’m not here to add more pressure on you. I’m certainly not here to pick on things you’re doing and not doing.

Think of me as a supportive ally with knowledge in education.

I will guide you, inspire you, and get you started in the direction you have always wanted to go.

“You have a really soothing presence – it was really easy to talk with you. You were really prepared for the call and had some ideas already for when we talked.  Getting all of the great website suggestions and activity ideas really helped me finalize my plan and feel more confident in my new teacher role.“

~ Sara Carbaugh, Homeschooling mom

Why should I invest in private consulting when I can get ideas online for free?

We all need help at one time or another because we cannot do everything.

As a home educating parent, you are busy and tired and lack time to do the research yourself. When you need cleaning help, you hire a cleaning crew. When you need help fixing the car, you hire a mechanic. When you need a haircut, you hire a hairstylist.

When the days are long and tough, and your well has run dry, you can get individualized support for your child.

I am not a search engine. There are plenty of resources out there. I am someone who will listen to your specific concerns and give you strategies to best meet the needs of your child and family.

Also, by having a real live person to talk with will help make you accountable for the tips and tricks you’re given. How many times have you bookmarked an idea and never returned to it? That won’t happen if you have recommendations for your specific situation.

“I found my consultation with you to be very valuable. You are direct, stay on topic and summarized everything clearly in the follow up package.  I feel much more confident teaching problem solving. I feel I have an authentic ‘plan of attack.’

~ Jasmin Gibbons, homeschooling mom of 2

I’ve been homeschooling for a long while now. How can you possibly help me?

I have 16+ years of experience in the classroom with large groups of children and one-on-one interventions.

I have professional experience with a wide variety of diagnoses. I have personal experience with my own child who is disabled and is also homeschooled.

I have always had a heart for children with diverse needs and my research in providing the best quality education continues even today.

My mission is to help families find the right educational solutions for a peaceful home.

“I am more informed on alternatives to worksheets and feel better able to look at the development of my children as a whole.”

~ Chantal, mom of 2

What are my payment options?

I accept all major credit cards and Paypal.

“I love the way you present the information. It appeals to my sensibilities the way it’s organized, short, to the point, practical.”

~ Beth Phillips, homeschooling mom of 4, blogger and founder of Being Home and PA Homeschool Law

What is your cancellation/ rescheduling policy?

Life happens. We’re parents and anything can come up unexpectedly. If you worry that you won’t be able to make the appointment, know that I understand. I don’t want you to feel stressed about meeting with me.

Here is my cancellation/rescheduling policy: If you have scheduled an appointment and can’t make it, you can reschedule it the same way you booked it, no charge—even if you decide to cancel. The details of this policy will be in your Welcome Package (sent to you at the time of booking).

“I thought the whole process was very professional. Your advice was what I needed. I have been applying it and have found it very helpful.”
