“My stepson was struggling in school (I have 5 kids; 2 do well in school and my other 2 are younger and not attending school). I saw he did better at home through Covid, so I considered homeschooling for him but I was concerned. Gabriella is very compassionate, understanding, and knows how to address a child’s unique learning needs through homeschool as well as get them the right resources at school. She took time to address my concerns and provide resources.”
Anna de Acosta
Mother of 5
“I felt overwhelmed with how to organize papers and stay effective and efficient in that regard. Gabriella is a very warm and kind person. She is also knowledgeable and quite resourceful. She shared with me great resources on certain subjects and gave me useful tips not only how to stay organized but also what areas are more important to focus on when you homeschool a disabled child. I love consulting with Gabriella on a regular basis. Having ongoing support helps me tremendously to be the best homeschool mom I could be to my child.”

You have worked with so many specialists in your child's lifetime. I hear you. However, I’m not here to add more pressure on you. I’m certainly not here to pick on things you’re doing and not doing.
Think of me as a supportive ally with knowledge in education and trauma-informed practices.
I will guide you, inspire you, and get you started in the direction you have always wanted to go.
“You have a really soothing presence – it was really easy to talk with you. You were really prepared for the call and had some ideas already for when we talked. Getting all of the great website suggestions and activity ideas really helped me finalize my plan and feel more confident in my new teacher role.“
~ Sara Carbaugh, Homeschooling mom
We all need help at one time or another because we cannot do everything.
As a parent, you are busy and tired and lack time to do the research yourself. When you need cleaning help, you hire a cleaning crew. When you need help fixing the car, you hire a mechanic. When you need a haircut, you visit a hairstylist.
When the days are long and tough, and your well has run dry, you can get individualized support for your child.
I am not a search engine. There are plenty of resources out there. I am someone who will listen to your specific concerns and give you strategies to best meet the needs of your child and family.
Also, by having a real live person to talk with will help make you accountable for the tips and tricks you’re given. How many times have you bookmarked an idea and never returned to it? That won’t happen if you have recommendations for your specific situation.
“I found my consultation with you to be very valuable. You are direct, stay on topic and summarized everything clearly in the follow up package. I feel much more confident teaching problem solving. I feel I have an authentic ‘plan of attack.’
~ Jasmin Gibbons, homeschooling mom of 2
