On Sunday evenings, I experience the grief of switching from the freedom of the weekend to the restrictions of the weekday (and, at times, both).
Many adults are finding newfound flexibility in working from home. That feeling of night-before-work-sadness has shifted for many.
Some children are not so lucky. They are still being ping-ponged in various directions as the adults (many of whom haven’t been in a classroom since they were students themselves) decide what is best for them.
What if we consider something different for our students so they don’t feel sickened on Sunday evenings?
What if schools were an invitation rather than a requirement?
How would this look?
How would it flow?
Who would be included?
