When you have to keep a close eye on the child, preparing for the morning circle can be quite daunting. You might be wondering how to keep all of the moving parts well oiled.
I set up the morning circle materials on the dining room table while my son digests his breakfast (i.e.: he watches educational TV). Our morning circle gathering is just beside this table. Since the opening and closing activities are the same daily, I store those together in an easy-to-reach spot. The only thing that changes, and that you need to prepare for, is the main activity.
